Training roofing students and helping a family in need

Giving Back

We’re always eager to support our community and provide opportunities for aspiring professionals in the roofing industry.

That's why we’re proud to share the story of our partnership with Regina Trades & Skills Centre (RTSC) on a recent project that benefited a deserving family and offered invaluable hands-on experience for roofing students.

Under the guidance of our very own Kris Wall, RTSC’s Residential Roofing class installed a new roofing system for a single mother and her young daughters at zero cost.

This experience allowed students to gain exposure to a real work environment, face job challenges, and tackle weather elements not encountered in a shop setting. It also instilled the importance of giving back.

The success of this project wouldn't have been possible without community partnerships and the support of local businesses.

Wheatland Roofing, along with our supplier Owens Corning Canada LP, donated the roofing materials. Lorras Disposal provided a washroom facility, and TJ’s Pizza supplied food for the hardworking students.
